Hello,
I’m Dario, a Veterinary Technician with a strong professional focus on Dog and Cat Behaviour.
My journey in behaviour began during my education at Seneca College, where I completed a full academic course in dog and cat behaviour as part of my Veterinary Technician program. I then had the opportunity to train under Dr. Gary Landsberg, a board-certified veterinary behaviourist, at Doncaster Animal Hospital in Toronto. These experiences formed the foundation of my behaviour-focused approach.
Over the years, my work has continued to focus around supporting pets and their families through behaviour challenges. I have over 6 years of veterinary clinic experience and spent 14 years with the City of Toronto Animal Services, gaining extensive hands-on experience with dogs of all backgrounds and temperaments. During my time there, I implemented science-based behaviour programs, designed to boost confidence and social skills, helping shelter dogs become more adoptable.
Today, I specialize in behaviour modification for dogs experiencing fear, anxiety, reactivity, aggression, and other behavioural concerns. My approach blends evidence-based techniques with a deep understanding of the human–animal bond. I believe that every dog and family deserves patient, compassionate guidance, and that real progress comes from teamwork, trust, and consistency.
As a family man, a loving husband, and a father of two daughters, I understand the importance of living harmoniously with our pets. Whether I’m helping a new puppy build a strong foundation or guiding a family through a challenging behaviour case, my goal remains the same: to help pets feel safer, more confident, and more connected to the people who love them.
If you’d like to discuss your pet’s behaviour, I’m always here to help.
